English Teacher

We are looking for a High school English Teacher for an International Bilingual School in Xiamen. This position is available from the 2027-28 academic year in August 2027.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English including; English literature and writing to High school students utilizing the IG/A-level  framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

• Master's degree in English, Linguistics, Philosophy or related
• Valid teaching certification or license
• Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience
• IG/A-level curriculum school experience preferred
• Home-country teaching license preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary range of 22,000 to 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
