Internship - Events (S&M)

We are pleased to offer an internship opportunity that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational team. This role will be responsible for activities to support the daily operation in Sales & Marketing - Events. That placement will start in August 2026 for a minimum of 6 months.

Key Accountabilities:

• Handle enquiries related to banquet function rooms with professionalism and care
• Provide administrative support including event materials preparation, gift inventory management, and internal correspondence
• Coordinate and manage internal event bookings
• Assist with data entry for monthly sales reports and maintain event documentation
• Create and update company profiles, manage event bookings, and track activities
• Collaborate with clients to craft memorable and innovative event experiences
• Prepare event materials such as menus, place cards, signage, seating plans, and table signage
• Liaise with Banquet teams to ensure venues are set up in accordance with event details

General Requirements:

• The Peninsula Hong Kong is open to international applicants for the internship opportunities
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
• Pleasant, courteous, and fun personality
• Passionate about luxury hospitality and event planning

Benefits:

• Training allowance of HK$7,000 per month, 5-day work week, Annual leaves, Medical allowance, Duty meals, F&B discount, Uniform provision, Gym facilities access
