Become a Drama & Public Speaking Teacher in Shanghai!
Inspire the next generation of creative and confident communicators. You’ll teach Drama, Acting, Stage Design, and Public Speaking to talented students aged 9-18, helping them develop their creativity, confidence, communication skills, and ability to express themselves.
You’ll design and deliver engaging lessons covering the fundamentals of drama and performance, while also developing students’ oral communication and public speaking skills. You’ll coach students in effective presentation techniques, including voice projection and modulation, body language, speech structure, and confident delivery.
Beyond the classroom, you’ll have the opportunity to bring performances to life by supporting theatre productions, overseeing costume creation, and contributing to stage and production design. You’ll provide constructive, individualized feedback to help students grow as performers and communicators.

Your Typical Schedule
This full-time role involves a five-day workweek, including Saturdays and Sundays, with two consecutive days off scheduled between Monday and Friday.
You'll balance classroom instruction with dedicated time for lesson planning and student support. Instructors teach all levels, leading to the annual tournament, fostering growth and learning.
Spring & Fall: Teach up to 20 hours per week, balancing weekday B2B courses at our partner schools with weekend classes at the center.
Winter & Summer Camps: Focus on center-based teaching, with up to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Bachelor’s degree ideally in Drama, Theater or communication (with graduation date at least two years ago to meet visa regulations)
At least 2-3 years of Drama/public speaking teaching experience
The ability to live and work in China for two years
